Boil Water Advisory for Coosaw Creek REPEALED
March 22, 2018: The Dorchester County Water and Sewer Department advises the residents of 4283 and 4286-4296 Club Course Drive that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.
Following an intense flushing of the water distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected by the Department and analyzed by our laboratory. The results of this sampling indicate that the water system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
March 21, 2018: The Dorchester County Water and Sewer Department is issuing a Boil Water Advisory until further notice for the residents of 4283 and 4286-4296 Club Course Drive due to a water line break. Club Course Drive is located in Coosaw Creek Country Club off Patriot Blvd. in the City of North Charleston.
Approximately 13 homes are affected. SCDHEC has been notified. The repair is expected to be complete this afternoon.
When the water supply is restored, customers are advised to boil their water vigorously for at least one (1) full minute before drinking or cooking. Also, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes. Notification will be given as soon as the water is safe for consumption.
