Dorchester County Emergency Operations Center Moved to OPCON 4
The Dorchester County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) moved to Operating Condition (OPCON) 4 at 4:00 PM, today, Friday, September 7, 2018, closely monitoring Tropical Storm Florence.
OPCON 4 means the Emergency Management Department (EMD) is closely monitoring the situation and has opened lines of communication with emergency support agencies and all essential EOC personnel are now on stand-by.
Residents are encouraged to review their hurricane preparedness and evacuation plans. Dorchester County Hurricane Evacuation Zones have changed.
