Dorchester County Fire Rescue Responds to Residential Structure Fire on Levi Lane
At approximately 8:25 AM on Monday, October 29, 2018, Dorchester County Fire Rescue (DCFR) received an alarm for a residential structure fire at 134 Levi Lane in unincorporated Dorchester County. Crews arrived on the scene in four minutes and found a one-story residential building with extensive smoke and fire conditions coming from the structure.
Eighteen DCFR personnel contained the fire within 30 minutes of arriving on-scene. A neighbor noticed smoke coming from the residence and called 9-1-1.
The Dorchester County Sherriff’s Office and EMS also responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
