Dorchester County Water & Sewer Performing Maintenance to Pump Station 1

Dorchester County Water & Sewer is performing scheduled maintenance to the wastewater lines going to/from Pump Station 1. This work may cause an increase in odor along Dorchester Rd. between Parlor Dr. and Ladson Rd. The work is expected to take approximately 45 – 60 days.

Larry Harper, Director of Dorchester County Water  Sewer said “This work is necessary to ensure that we continue to provide the highest quality of service. Our staff is working in tandem with the contractors to minimize odor being generated from the pump station throughout the rehabilitation of the pump station.” Harper added, “we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause our residents and business owners.”
