Boil Water Advisory Issued for Coosaw Creek - REPEALED

Dorchester County Water and Sewer Department advises the customers at 4220-4274 Club Course Drive that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking

Following intense flushing of the water distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected by the Department and analyzed by our laboratory. The results of this sampling indicate that the water system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.

Dorchester County Water & Sewer Department has issued a Boil Water Advisory for 4220-4274 Club Course Drive due to a water line repair. The affected area is in Coosaw Creek Country Club which is off Patriot Blvd. in the City of North Charleston. Approximately 33 homes are affected.  SCDHEC has been notified. The advisory below is being issued today to the residents. 

When the water supply is restored, customers are advised to boil their water vigorously for at least one (1) full minute before drinking or cooking. Also, any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes. Notification will be given as soon as the boil water advisory has been lifted.
