Boil Water Advisory Issued for Portion of Main Street in Reevesville

REEVESVILLE, S.C. — The Dorchester County Water and Sewer Department has issued a boil water advisory effective immediately for customers at 100-111 Main St. in Reevesville due to an emergency water line repair.

Customers in the affected area should vigorously boil water for at least one full minute before drinking, cooking or preparing food. Ice made with water that has not been boiled should not be used or consumed.

The advisory will remain in effect until testing confirms the water is safe for consumption. Customers will be notified when the advisory has been lifted.
