Dorchester County Water and Sewer has lifted the boil water advisory previously issued for customers located at 100-111 Main St. in Reevesville. Customers in the affected area no longer need to boil their water before drinking or cooking.

Following extensive flushing of the water distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by the department’s laboratory. Test results confirmed that the water is safe for drinking and cooking.
