Election Commissions to Certify Election Results

The Town of St. George, Town of Summerville and the Dorchester County Board of Elections will certify all election results on Thursday, November 9, 2017 and Friday, November 10, 2017.

The certification hearings will be held on/at the below dates, times and locations:

Unofficial election results, including write-ins, are available on this site.

Recounts will not be conducted. Per SC Code 7-17-280, recounts will only be conducted when the difference between the vote totals is less than 1 percent.

Dorchester County had a very light turnout in all Municipal Elections. The total (countywide) voter participation for Dorchester County was 12.93%.
