Objective:  Foster strong relationships with the local community and aviation stakeholders

• Host open houses and aviation education events
• Develop feedback channels for pilots, tenants, and visitors
• Partner with local schools and STEM programs to promote aviation careers

Economic Development

Objective: Support economic growth across Dorchester County by leveraging airport assets to attract diverse industries and investment.

• Promote strategic land use for aviation and non-aviation commercial development
• Collaborate with local and regional economic development agencies to attract new businesses
• Position airport infrastructure as a catalyst for broader job creation and business expansion in the county

Aviation Education & Workforce Development

Objective:  Advance aviation knowledge and cultivate the next generation of aviation professionals

• Partner with flight schools and universities.
• Offer internship or mentorship programs at the airport.
• Support local Civil Air Patrol and youth aviation programs. 

Infrastructure & Capacity Improvement

Objective:  Modernize and expand airport infrastructure to meet current and future demand

• Pursue FAA and state grant funding for capital improvement projects
• Plan for additional hangar space, fuel delivery, and apron areas
• Upgrade navigation aids, weather systems, and airport signage
