The program is designed to provide teenagers and young adults (ages 16-22) who reside in Dorchester County an opportunity to develop workplace readiness skills and gain experience in local government. A variety of opportunities are available within Dorchester County Government in office administration, customer service, and the field of general labor. 

Eligible individuals must meet the following criteria:

• Be between the ages of 16 – 22 at the time of application submission.
• Be currently enrolled in high school or college (proof of enrollment is required)
• Be a resident of Dorchester County
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours, per week.

The eight-week program begins in June

Applications can be submitted online (Please Note: Applications will not be online prior to April. 

Applicants without access to a computer may use a computer at any of the Dorchester County Public Libraries.
