The Director of Business Services oversees:
Assists the County Administrator in developing the County's annual operating and capital budgets.
Responsible for processing all Business License applications, renewals, and appeals within the unincorporated areas of Dorchester County.
Responsible for the Financial Management of Dorchester County. This includes the annual audit, maintaining controls over financial activities and processing accounts payable and payroll.
The Purchasing Department is solely responsible for issuing Invitations for Bids (IFB's), Requests for Proposals (RFP's), and Request for Qualifications (RFQ's).
