The Dorchester County Consolidated Dispatch Center is managed by the Consolidated Dispatch Director under the leadership of the Deputy Administrator of Public Safety.
9-1-1 Dispatchers are trained at the national and state level to provide service to callers in a multitude of different emergency scenarios.
Public Records Requests
All Public Records Requests intended for the Consolidated Dispatch Center must be submitted in person, via US Mail to the below address, or via email to Cora Tanton. Requests submitted online or by fax will not be accepted.

If applicable, the requester/requesting organization will be responsible for all costs related to the fulfillment of records requests.
Record Request intended for the Dorchester Count Sheriff's Office must be made directly to the Sheriff's Office.
Under Section 30-4-30(C) of South Carolina Law:
Allow a minimum of ten (10) business days excluding weekends and observed holidays for a response to a request for records that are two years old, or less.
Allow a minimum of twenty (20) business days excluding weekends and observed holidays for a response to a request for records that are more than two years old.
