More than 130 people serve on Dorchester County Boards and Commissions.  All approved applicants are voted on by Dorchester County Council. After a favorable vote by Council, some positions require the additional step of appointment by the South Carolina Governor.  If you are a registered voter and would like to serve on one of the Boards and Commissions in Dorchester County, please download, complete an application and send to lconrad@dorchestercountysc.gov.  We are now accepting applications for the following:                                                

*  Accommodation Tax Advisory Committee, District 4 (at large)                               

*  Dorchester Seniors Board Inc., District 2

*  Procurement Appeals, Dorchester County Resident (goods and services industry)

*  Parks and Recreation Commission, District 7
