Due to the minimal impacts of Tropical Storm Irma, Dorchester County will is not collecting debris, curbside. Residents who need assistance with the debris removal should contact a private hauler or contractor or call 2-1-1.
SC 2-1-1 is working in collaboration with Crisis Cleanup to connect homeowners with post-storm services. More Information on Debris Removal Assistance
Residents may also dispose of yard debris at the Miles Jamison or Sand Pines Convenience Sites.
Limbs should be no more than 10-12 inches in diameter and not more than 4-6 feet in length. Oversized limbs, tree trunks and stumps will not be accepted.
Contractor use is strictly forbidden and will result in civil penalties.
Residents can request ground spraying for mosquito abatement via the online form and/or by contacting the Mosquito Abatement Office at (843) 832-0080.
County residents and business owners are encouraged to report structural damage via the damage reporting form.
