On select dates throughout the spring and fall, our partners at Audubon South Carolina feature free guided walks at the future Ashley River Park Site.
Join an Audubon naturalist for a casual stroll through this natural area gem! An Audubon naturalist will teach you about the common birds that reside in this part of the world and will offer tips about easy ways to make your yard more bird-friendly.
No registration is required. Please print and bring the completed Bird Walk Liability Form with you.
All ages/experience levels are invited. However, all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
To participate, meet the Audubon naturalist on the designated morning at the parking area listed below.
Footwear appropriate for a muddy/natural terrain is recommended.
For more information please contact Matt Johnson at (843) 462-2150.
There are no Guided Bird Walks at this time. Please check back often for upcoming dates.
Location: Future Ashley River Park Site (Intersection of Hwy. 165 and Renken Rd.)
